Time Domain Secures $25 Million Financing Round Led by Pharos Capital Group, LLC

Ultra Wideband Leader Secures Funding from New and Existing Investors

Huntsville, Alabama -- September 17, 2007 -- Time Domain Corporation, the leading Ultra Wideband (UWB) product company, announced a $25 million financing round. The round was led by controlling shareholder Pharos Capital Group, LLC, who invested a total of $15 million. Pharos was joined in the new funding by a pension fund of a public safety organization. The new funds will be used to accelerate product development of the new real time location systems (RTLS) UWB product line and to expand sales and marketing activities.

“This round of financing should firmly establish Time Domain as an industry leader in the large and rapidly growing active radio frequency identification (RFID) market,” said Bob Crants, Managing Partner of Pharos Capital.

Time Domain's line of UWB products provides real-time, precise location of high-value assets and people. Similar to global positioning systems (GPS) but with much higher accuracy indoors, UWB RTLS provides the ability to track location to within a few feet, even in the harshest of environments.

“We are very pleased to receive this latest round of funding which will expedite our R&D, sales, and marketing activities for our RTLS product lines. Time Domain is strongly positioned to capture significant market share of the fast-growing RTLS segment of the RFID market and this new capital validates our progress and growth strategy,” said Will Webb, CEO of Time Domain.

Time Domain's UWB RTLS products enable companies to increase bottom-line profits by providing precise location information to automate business processes, more efficiently utilize people and assets, and prevent costly errors and mistakes. Time Domain’s first commercially available indoor tracking product line will be released this fall and will focus on the high-growth healthcare market.
